How can I market my website on the Internet?
There are 2 main ways to market a website:
- pay someone to do it for you
- do it yourself, if you have the time and know-how.
Why should I market my website?
If your website is not marketed, it will be of little value as an advertising tool, and probably won't sell anything.
This is the reason why the biggest brands in the world are also the biggest spenders on advertising. For example, we all know Coca-Cola is the biggest soft-drink in the world, but have you noticed how much they advertise their product? They are continuously in your face, and this is why they are the biggest.
How do I get a website?
1. Decide who your target audience is, and what exactly you want to sell.
2. Decide what you need in your website. (Your web designer will help with this)
3. Decide which domain name you want - think of about 3, because the one you want might be taken
4. Find some web design sites on the Internet, and ask for quotes. Be as specific as possible in this.
4. Choose a web designer (choose us!) and, bingo! Your business is online!
